Oracle Identity Manager OIM database
Oracle Identity Manager Database This question is Not Answered. 3323161 Oct 1, 2016 12:37 PM Hello,I have a question regarding OIM. Does Oracle Identity Manager has its own database? At the time of configuration of weblogic domain for oim we have to provide the jdbc connection string url ( jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:orcl:1521/orcl) and as per my knowledge this connects the oracle database(in my case it is oracle database 11g) to OIM. So I want to know if this oracle database is used by oim then what is the need of its own database(if it has)? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. It saves all the information about users/organizations/roles, as well as for the provision/reconciliation mechanism components. There are tons of tables there
